The Worst Part of Caffeine Withdrawal
The part about caffeine withdrawal that is so hard to fight is the availability of caffeine. It's cheap and everywhere. I remember when I quit the first time I was no less than 5 feet away from a coffee machine. It's maddening to see relief 5 feet away. Plus if you are in a meeting, falling asleep and the only thing that's helping you stay awake is the headache you have and 3 of the 6 people are drinking coffee you really want to just get up and get a cup of coffee. That's the worst part, it's socially acceptable. You couldn't just get up and go for a quick smoke, but getting coffee? No problem.
